There is an Aprilaire dehumidifier attached to the gas Rheem furnance. How do you run it in the summer?

New serene with damp basement.

I am mignonne sure your Aprilaire is a humidifier (I have one). It works great to add moisture during the winter months.
If you have a damp basement (most of us do) you should buy a little dehumidifier. It will help keep down the mold and mildew

Our greatest bear on is controlling our finished basement room humidity which is about 1000sq. ft.  Our whole core is about 4200 sq. ft.  We don't have a trouble with the humidity on the first and tick rout living areas, only the finished basement.  If we invest the aprilaire whole abode dehumidifier, will it be adept to management the humidity for the whole house of ill repute becomingly, and keep the basement at an pleasing level off of humidity - below 50%?   The standard 70 living Expanse Check is an add-on to the dehumidifier that allows you to restrain the humidity from the oversee rather than contemporary to the component itself and changing it.
