We lodge near a lake in the mid west and are having to use a Soleus Portable dehumidifier (which puts out a lot of hot air by the way) and 2 Portable air conditioners. Sometimes they effort and sometimes not. Should we even think of using both in tandem?

Well I would unprejudiced focus on one room then. Close all other doors and just focus on cooling one room at a time. (preferably the stay you are currently in. ) I think that's the most efficient way to go about it.

I justifiable moved into a new apartment and they say it gets very hot in the summer, Unfortunately, in the bedroom I have a sliding glass door, so a allowance air conditioner won't work. They tell me a dehumidifier is the best way to go. Do you agree

A dehumidifier will not unflappable. It will only make the air dry. It has an evaperator coil that collects water and drips into a pan under the unit. This coil is cold. The condenser on the back is hot. Thus, no cooling and God willing make the room
