I owe businessman Don Pommerville, Judicature of Commerce CEO Ken Ostini and my buddy Howdy Spicer apologies — Don and Ken for lying to them and Howdy for always forceful him that he was wrong. I lied to Don and Ken when I told them that this column would be all about how our small businesses contribute to Lompoc. This was to be a first of many columns spotlighting district businesses. A lot of things are going to be solely blamed on the Lompoc Housing Community Unfolding Corporation (LHCDC) and I might as well jump on the bandwagon: So it’s their fault I lied to Don and Ken.

I’ve been writing since 2003 and have covered everything from fundraisers to the dearth of economic development. My first column on economic development was back in 2006, in which I stated that we had no plan. Of course, the then-mayor disagreed and stated in a consistory meeting that this was not true; unfortunately we now know that our leaders had no viable economic development strategy.

One of my wardrobes gets a particle damp and I read about rechargable dehumidifiers that work well in small spaces.

Problem is there are a couple to choose from so upright wanted to know if anyone has one and which one is it. Does it work

I m in a small office with 3 people in central FL and my co worker gets cold easily. The only way to get rid of the humidity is turn on the air and he gets glacial. I was looking at air purifiers but i dont know if they get rid of humidity? Dehumidifiers

Air purifiers reasonable use electrons to pull particles out of the air. They don't mess with water. De-humidifier is the way to go.
