Best Vapor Barrier for Concrete Crawl Space?

I have a 4 x 5 (estimated) crawl space that my split air system uses to tie its air. I want to encapsulate the concrete crawl space and add a dehumidifier to decrease dampness. This damp smell is being drawn in and distributed throughout the retreat.
i would put a go out of of rubber roofing down and cover it with stone or sand...

You're barking up the incorrect tree.
The inside air is recirculated and never comes from an outside source.
The condenser section uses front air, but it returns it outside as well.
