Any Alternatives for a dehumidifier for a gun safe?

Dehumidifiers are costly, are there any cheaper alternatives? I've had the gun in the safe for a few weeks...it still looks fine.

Not infallible if they are for "dehumidifying" or not but you could look into those "Sillica Gel" packs that are always in electronics packaging. Not definite if you can order them in bulk or if it's a cost effective solution or not.. Just

Silica packs are the overwhelm for a gun safe. Because you keep it closed and locked a dehumidifier is not a good idea. You can usually find large silica packs in military surfeit stores. Try looking on the internet. I would suggest one in the top and

Gun safe dehumidifier?

My clothes dryer vents into the garage, where my gun suitable is, and it is causing a lot of condensation to build up on my guns, almost enough to form droplets. Would a dehumidifier be enough to get rid of this much moisture and what kind should I get?
Venting into the house/garage is a code violation. This will cause the sheet rock and insualtion to build up moisture and mold that will settle amicably it sag and separate from the walls.
