SNF Chemicals at United Utilities Waste Water Treatment Works in Manchester

Portasilo has been awarded a wrinkle to supply two skirted Polymer storage silos for SNF Chemicals at United Utilities Waste Not ring true Treatment Works in Manchester.

The silos will be manufactured from mild steel and designed to store 25Tonne of polymer. Each silo will be tailor-made with a filter unit, differential pressure switch, pressure vacuum relief valve, sharp level probe, explosion vents, loadcells, Rotoflo discharger, dehumidifier and will be fully equipped to agree to the safe filling of the silo by pressurised road tankers in compliance with the latest requirements of the HSE by utilising our silo fill panel and base level test system.

The main challenge for Portasilo with this project was to ensure that it conformed to United Utilities prerequisite for a 'Mass flow' design to avoid stagnant zones in the silo and negate the use of aeration and vibration devices from the system.
It was achieved by contribution the low profile Rotoflo discharge unit with a steep 40 degree included angle cone to minimise superior flow and the formation of stagnant zones within the silo.

Can anyone suggest anything I can use to stop (in my garden):

1) Earthworms
2) Cockroaches
3) Lizards
4) Beetles

1. Earthworms aerate your pollute and are excellent for your garden. If you must rid yourself of them- most of the grub killing products also kill earthworms. That's the only reason I dont use them.
