I have an LG LHD45EL dehumidifier I bought last year, but now no water shows up in the tank...why?

It sits in our rec extent as it did last year througout the summer the tank was full a few times a week. Now nothing shows up...no water. I cleaned the gauze so far.

It could be that there is no moisture in the air to come or the compressor is not running, or the thermostat is not turning on the compressor, I hope I have helped you

According to Consumer Reports, the LG LHD45EL and the Kenmore 54501 models are the greatest buys for the medium-capacity. I've read reviews on both and still cannot figure out which is better. Anyone have experience with either of these? Or any other
