Water has seeped under my kahrs wood floor. Will a dehumidifier be enough?
Shower came in our basement window and seeped under our Kahrs wood floor. You can hear the water underneath, but very insignificant has come through the floor. (There is a water and cushioning seal underneath). Wondering if a dehumidifier will dry it

dehumidifier will escape greatly but if mould has set in you will still have that problem. you really need to find the reason for the leak and correct it too. crank on the dehumidifier
Harm to dehumidifier running on auto pilot?
i've installed the hose and connected it to to the defeat drain, and bypassed the bucket. also, ive wedged a piece of wood on the on button to keep the thing running continuously. riddle?
I am not accurate which "button" you wedged so it stays on. You shouldn't have had to deal with any float mechanism for the old pail.
There are several controls. 1 is the on/off mechanism which is usually built into a humidistat.

First, if you charged in an apartment, it is very difficult to get rid of bugs because you share walls with neighbors.
Second, the moisture is going to m against you as well. Certain bugs thrive in moisture.
