I'm frustrating to convert an electric hair dryer to a battery operated hair dryer by connecting the wires of the hair dryer to 11 9-volt batteries. Will that work or do I still have to do something else? Please help... Thanks...
By the way, I'm
You actually can't convert an existing dryer without using a large inverter and a large auto battery.
I've never seen a portable hair-dryer.
The refractory is that they use about 1200 watts, and with a 12 volt battery, that

Well, the 11 9V batteries will give you 99V of vitality (+ some due to batteries being over the voltage they say they are) which is close to the 110V out of the wall. The problem you're going to face is that most hair dryers that I've seen run on AC power

You must empathize with that the hair dryer you are mentioning is working or AC voltage or DC voltage? If it is AC then you will spoil the dryer by connecting DC voltage. normally all electrical appliance are AC. As read what you mention is a dc one then

Most of the smaller, axial begin hair driers use series wound motors that will run off DC. So if you get one of these you will be OK. The fan takes quite a lot of power, so those little 9 volt batteries are too grudging. But you could do it with 73 D cells

I can't recommend brands as I couldn't find anything online. Try your local salon or even

I'm wealthy to be at camp and need to blow dry my hair every single time I'm done showering and I'm pretty sure the camp doesn't have electrical outlets in the bathrooms. I'm active to need a non-expensive battery operated blow dryer. PLEASE HELP!!
Destroy dryers take way too much energy to be run from a battery, and so nobody makes one. But you could use a regular blow dryer powered by batteries.
Suppose you want a 1200 watt 120 volt bugger up dryer. That's a 10 amp load (current
