Blow dryer?
May 02, 2008 by California Kush | Posted in Dogs
Is it geographically come to pass that you shouldn't use a human blow dryer on dogs because the heat drys out their skin?? How about putting it on medium heat or unheated?? I have hear that you shouldn't and i have heard that you should because they could
I've been using my hairdryer on my 2 Poms for over 8 years and both their fur is elegant! Keep it on the cool/medium setting (cool setting to get to the under coat).
Poms should be blow dried so they don't get hot spots.

No, using a blow dryer is gauzy, that's what professional groomers use, a giant stationary blow dryer. I would know, I have a "special" dog dryer.

Well, I industry at a veterinarians office and we always wash dogs. We use a really high-powered blower to dry the dogs but the air is not hot so i'm tried putting your blow dryer on cool would be ok. Just don't put it on hot.

It's not drying out the pellicle you need to worry about, it's the dryers being too hot. If you use it on lower heat, the hairdryer is fine. I have poodles and have used hairdryers for years! Not to write about, they actually make doggie dryers at that.

if it has a imperturbable setting try it on your self first and see how "cool" it really gets and if its safe then it could work scarcely fine

My Pit Bull as a matter of fact loves the blowdryer. He's never had any negative results from using it. I never believe what vets say. I gave my dog chocolate weekly and he lived to be 16 years with no trim problems!

I haven't heard that a blow dryer was detrimental...it is less harmful to a dog than on a human head because they have more hair ..just use a lower heat setting...it's not like you have it active for an extended period of time....if you try this at an early

Blowdryers are superior. Just make sure it is not too hot and that you end up burning the dog

it depends on the type of dog, but most will not dry out. I use my trifle dryer on my dog all the time (shes a mutt, we think she may have pitbull in her, resembles that). She likes to try to eat the air, haha. So yes, it is fine to use a fine hair

I never heard of it drying out their strip before.
I've only blowdryed a dog once. I put it on medium at first, but too make sure it didn't hurt him, I kept my hand near the precinct I was drying and didn't stay in one place for too long.

Hello...It's sunny to use a blow dryer on your dog just keep it at a safe distance not to close to your dog...If you have a low setting use it..What do these people think groomer use to dry dogs. Stoned velocity dryers and stand dryers yes they get warm...Depending

I use a benign blow dryer on the dog in winter so she doesn't have to hang around wet, since I keep the house fairly cool. I towel dry till she's no more than damp, use mechanism or low heat and maximum airflow setting on the dryer, keep it moving while fluffing

i recently got my blow dryer like 2 months ago
it was beautiful cheap like 15 dollars
this moring when i turned it on it wouldnt heat up it just kept blowing chilly air
i checked to see if it was on the cool setling and it wasnt
If you still have the counterfoil for it return it and tell them it does not work, and find a better brand. cheap ones usually don't last that elongated, its better to invest a little bit. for a good one.

What damage would a blow-dryer do to my hair if I use it to often?

When I go to view I only have an hr to get ready in the morning. So when I leave my home I want to have my hair dry, but if I use the blow dryer everyday will it REALLY leave my braids all brittle bc its so dried out? And if that's the case, would using
In my conception, Nexus is the best shampoo and conditioner line made today. They are found at salons.
Blow-drying your hair on a regular basis would damage it, but daily shampooing is not necessary unless you are working in a very dirty
