There is a commercial for some washer/dryer coterie and in the commercial there is a little boy who always wears a knit hat and his mom calls it his safety blanket and sneaks into his room while he's sleeping to rinse it. Some of the lyrics to the song

I had a load of clothes get scorched in a commercial dryer. Any way to save anything?

Is there a way to get the reek out of the salvageable items? Is the laundromat owner liable for damages to my clothes because his dryer overheated and shut off?

No & no.

How do you get a 500lb commercial dryer out of your pickup truck with no tools?

Assist! No forklift, no dolly. No extra bodies. Just one man and wife.

Chef-Master Commercial 5-Gallon Salad Dryer

Chef-Virtuoso Commercial 5-Gallon Salad Dryer Overview

The ChefMaster commercial 5-gallon salad dryer will dry 5 to 6 heads of lettuce at a continually. This module keeps the lettuce chip for longer subsistence and wagerer soup. The most up-market part of any salad is the dressing. Dry lettuce allows the operator to use about 1/2 the dressing that would be needed on wet lettuce. This salad dryer comes with handles on the side for simple motion, a categorical compel system for the drying basket and sealed gears so subsistence cannot quarters into the gears. But what makes this item thicket out in the commercial entrants besides its louring bit FDA approved artificial construction, is its patented braking system. When spinning the basket with the lettuce, the users would use the guide to rest the basket. This put a tremendous push on the gears which would decisively interpose. With the ChefMaster braking system, a uncontrived compel of a button pushes down the rein and stops the basket from spinning with no screen on the gears. Because of our style of sealed gears, we are one on only two salad dryers that has received the ETL certification to ANSI/NSF Benchmark 2 for foodservice and the only one to have the patented braking system.

About this book
Drying is fundamental step in the maufacture of many foods. Although its primary function is to remove appropriate quantities of moisture it is, in many cases, also responsible for imparting the characteristic qualities that distinguish one product from another. This book provides a fundamental understanding of moisture transport in the drying of foods and of the physical and chemical changes that occur during drying. A comprehensive description and assessment of the different types of dryers available to the industry are given and factors effecting the operation, control and selection of dryers are described. The combination of practical information supported by relevant theory makes this an essential volume for industrial food engineers, those involved in equipment manufacture, process plant design and new product development in all food sectors where dried foods are used. It will also be of interest to academic researchers in this aspect of food engineering.
