Would it better to install a dryer duct booster or to just shorten up our dryer duct for better drying time?
I have 30 ft of let go ducting in our home now and it's taking the dryer a while to dry clothes. I was thinking of re-routing the ducting in our basement to 15 ft, but then someone told me a dryer duct booster also works important.

I am adding insulation to my attic and I skilled in that I must not cover the recessed lights with insulation; however, is there any problem with covering the duct for the dryer vent?
