How can we stop our dryer hose from coming out of the back of the dryer?

Our dryer hose that blasts the hot air away from the dryer keeps falling out of the back of our dryer. The other end of headway is connected to the wall and shoots hot air outside, that is not too much of a problem. But do any of you have ideas for

you should be skilled to use duct tape-good quality-to attach it. If you have forced air heat, look at the tape that's on the seams there for an phantasy of what to look for in a quality tape. Aluminum duct tape will withstand the heat.

I barely did this. Buy a new hose and clamp. They are only about $9 and it has saved me so much hassle of messing with the old hose and clamp. The tape melts on and glue made noxious fumes.

If you dont' want to use duct tape, the next best solution is a zip tie. zip ties m much better than the screw type metal clamps. The worst solution is those spring type metal clamps.

Here is a relate to one from Ace Hardware. It's just $2.99 and makes your life a whole lot easier. It is less messy than duct tape would be and should last relatively a bit longer as well.

What happens if your clothes dryer hose is getting old?

I got a new dryer installed and the articulation guy said that the hose is getting old and is falling apart. He said if I notice problems to replace it. What kind of problems is he talking about...my clothes not drying correctly?
Heat, lint or moisture coming out.If it is susceptible change it or get it changed the hose is not very expensive.

Our dryer hose no question how firmly my husband attaches it to wall where it vents outside eventually gives way & falls off embankment. Any better kind of tape to really hold the hose in place? Thanks.
