how can I clean deeply-buried lint out of clothes dryer hose w/o buying expensive kit, to avoid fire hazard?

I be familiar with 2 people whose homes burned badly because of a fire started in their dryer, not the lint holder on top of course but deeper inside.... Is it easy as pie to clean it out? (no one around to help me--kinda clueless) thanks.
You can buy a study for cleaning them from any home hardware store. Be careful though, ducting is easy to tear. If you are too worried about it, pull out the dryer and do away with the ducting so you can see if it is full or not. The best way to prevent
