My laundry dryer doesn't produce enough heat, it takes much longer to dry my clothing.?

I get rid of my old dryer because it take forever to dry my laundry and bought a mark new one. But it happens the same thing. Anyone know what wrong with my dryer? Or how much should it be if i call a technician to fix it. Thanks.
Your heating particular is going. If this is happening with a brand new dryer, you can ither cash in the warranty or exchange it for a new one. In my experience, I have always had better happenstance just making them exchange it for a new one.

You must either have a hitch in your exhaust line behind the dryer or the vent itself is clogged with lint. Pull your dryer out and stick you hand up in the vent and see how much lint you devastate out. If you want you can pay a repair man to clean it out,

Most right there is a lint build up in the exhaust line leading outside. Make sure that the line is loosen and clear, then if you still have problems check the heating element. Since you bought a new one, I doubt if it is the element. good fortune.

I had the very same reaction happen. I got out my lawn and leaf blower and blew out the dryer vent line and a whole lot of lint came flying out. You will be amazed at how much well-advised b wealthier the dryer will work. good luck.

Same enigma 2nd dryer? Your vent is definetly plugged and your dryer is fine. To prove my point,dry one load with the vent off the back of the dryer. Do not do this if it's a gas dryer.

I've recently purchased a old laundry dryer, which has 3 prongs, the outlet in my apartment is 4-prongs. Can an adapter be purchased for the dryer to fit the 4 prongs?
