Early Morning Dryer Fire Extinguished Quickly in Waukesha

When Waukesha Alderman Vance Skinner’s smoke detectors went off while he was sleeping beginning Monday morning, the next few minutes turned into a nightmare.

Hoping they had simply left food in the oven, Skinner said his accessory went downstairs to locate the cause of the fire.

“There was no smoke downstairs,” he said.

They soon located the fire in the upstairs bathroom and tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher. They couldn’t put it out, so they got their girls and the dog out of the auditorium, grabbing their wallets on the way out.

“The fire department was here very fast,” Skinner said. “…We just stood in our driveway and watched while they did their id. They did a fantastic job – very accommodating and made us feel reassured.”

During the last 12 hours, Skinner said his kinfolk has received an outpouring of community support, especially from the neighbors, city employees and Carroll University. The kith and kin will be staying at hotel the next few days as the damage is fixed.

what is a fair price to disconnect a stacked washer & dryer?

My little woman and I are in the process of moving and we need to have our stacked washer & dryer taken apar, disconnected from the water & gas lines and taken out of the closet. The benefit our moving company recommended quoted us $200 and this

i over i would tackle this myself if i were you for 200 dollars id better get alot. id say your water and gas would have valves so that would be easy shut off. as for alluring them apart it has to just be support brackets either screws or some bolt

Luke's got it just. Turn off the water at the wall & disconnect the fill hoses, and secure them and the drain hose to the unit with duct tape recording or string. Turn off the gas at the petcock, disconnect the gas line, unplug the electrical connection, disconnect

Installing a stacked washer/dryer--do I need a dryer vent?

I yen to install an apt. sized stacked washer/dryer in my bathroom. does the dryer need to be vented on that type of unit? I did not see a vent on it. I haven't purchased it yet.
my theatre is tiny, I can't have full size appliances.
