I righteous replaced the heating element on my Whirlpool LE7680XPW0 dryer. I misplaced my notes for the termination of the wires to the element and the high limit thermostat. I terminated the wires where I brainwork they were but I think I may have

You hooked it up evil. You bypassed the thermostat and switch and connected it directly to the power source. You should have marked the wires.. go back to right and proper one!!!

You hooked it up reverse. You bypassed the thermostat and switch and connected it directly to the power source. You should have marked the wires.. go back to just one!!!

Scale model # is LER7646DQ1

Before changing the heater domain a adverse use an ohm meter (aka multimeter or volt/ohm meter) and check the element. With the dryer unplugged you should get less than 25 ohms irregulars (generally most elements are about 10-12 ohms) across the element

everything is working great it just will not heat up, i would rather fix it my self then hire someone to do for me. Any idea what it could be?
it is a gas dryer; if how would i replace the heating coil if that is what is is?

Anyone would have to look at it to distinguish you exactly what's wrong with it.
Or you'd have to give a LOT more info.
Electric dryers are fairly simple.
There's not much that can go wrong.
Typically, the elements light out.
