Do you own a dryer vent brush?

There are many dryer fires in the U.S. every year & I am strange as to how many of you own & use one. I use one weekly & I bought one at Lowe's the other day & gave it to my daughter-in-law as she didn't have one. I'm afraid of dryer

thanx 4 potent me,i will look for one.didnt know they existed,i try to pick all the lint out with my fingers and it hurts.my husband always puts the dryer on,then goes out to vocation,im trying to break him of this dangerous habit!

I bought one about a year ago, but hardly ever use it. I do clean out the filter after every drying cycle.

My dryer has the lint winnow at the front and after use you just remove the wheel ,peel of the lint and it is ready to go. I really thought that all dryers were like this as have never heard of a vent brush.

I bought one 4 or 5yrs ago, but it was too big to get in the narrow down straits slot that my dryer has, so I later bought a vacuum that has an attachment that is long and narrow, that works great for getting that supplement lint out, and I clean the lint trap after each

Yes I have a lint brush and I trim my lint trap by hand after each load. one. I too am afraid of dryer fires. Wish I could just hang the clothes out on the activity and live in peace. Anyway, I want to have someone come in and give me a whole new hose

Yes we do own a unite. One for the skinny lint trap area and the other for the main vent hose. Got a set for my son also at the same time. We clean the lint camouflage for every load of course but only use the brush once a week. Then again, just my wife

I've tried Lowe's & Refuge Depot. Give me more suggestions, please.
I got one at an appliance parts trader. It's a 4" round brush attached to a 10' flexible handle. It was $13.

My cloths dryer is miserly the middle of the ground floor of my house. The dryer vent travels from near the floor behind the dryer, up over the hall way, and exits to an outside wall about 7ft. off the ground. I would estimate the total run of the vent
I hardened to work for Sears as a technician and I used to come across that problem a lot, what I used to do was take a leaf blower join forces it in the vent that goes into the wall wrap a towel around it so that all the air was going through the pipe
