If you have a furnace humidifier do you need a dehumidifier?

We moved into a newer knowledgeable in and it was built with a furnace humidifier which I'm not even sure how to use (this is our first house) but some of the basement cement blocks are sweating, it feels dry but only a few of the blocks look wet. Do

sounds like you do to me if the blocks are sweating.put it immediately down in the basement.

Fancied humidity for a home is around 40%. less will cause dry sinus' and static electricity from carpeting. It can also dry out your furniture. More than 50% can cultivate mold. You may need a dehumidifier in the basement.

We just moved to firm after living in an apartment, so most house maintaining things are new to us. So there's a humidifier attached to the furnace in our house. It has like a tray filled with invalid.
My questions is how often should

I spend in the north where humidifiers are commonly attached to a furnace. I decided to replace the filter and activate it seeing as we're getting hardwood floors installed. It seems to be working. The riddle is nice and wet.
