.I have clamminess in my house and are in the process of taking the builder to court .The problem is some of the rooms are inhabitable but the ones we are gifted to live in are showing signs of damp now and I just want to keep it at bay until we go to
Why not honourable buy one? By the time you try building one which probably wont work you probably will spend more than it costs at Wal Mart for a actual one.

Has anyone made a homemade room humidifier?

I've purchased several "genuine" ones over the years and am kind of tired of the maintenance and purchase of distilled water. I'm upstanding looking for a successful homemade version that somebody has had some luck with. One method I've heard
You are on the healthy track. Try getting one of the large filter wicks used for example in a Holmes Humidifier, and just brook it up in the bowl of water. So now the wick is bringing more water up into the path of the hot air stream. It's what I do.

Well, I straight made a homemade humidifier for my red tail boa..$13... here's how to do it, although I'm not sure if it is working because the humidity doesn't seem to want to stay at 50-60, which is where I requirement it. But my tank is a 50 gallon
