I recently installed a whole house humidifier designed for up to a 2K sq ft house. I put it on my more northerly floor which has about 2K sq ft. I attached the humidifier to the return air side and connected a hot water source. Since the temperature

When the temperature is above 90 degrees and the humidity is above 90% (orthodox for Washington, DC summer), our HVAC has a very hard time keeping the humidity down to a comfortable level. Are there any ways to benefit the humidity reduction capabilities

The vanquish way would be to have your indoor coil replaced to one that is 1/2 ton larger than your outdoor coil.This removes much more latent fervidness(humidity).
I know it's not cheap but it is effective.
