is it good to use saline nasal drops and vicks humidifier at 38wks prego?

I'm 38wks prego. and i wish to buy a vicks humidifier, some saline nose drops, and some vitamin c to see if my cold can get better. Do you think all that is safe for my baby? Because I can not take the annoyance anymore everytime I cough it feels like one of my ribs is going to break from the baby being only on one side. So what should I do?

That is a in doubt that only your doctor can answer for you! Everyone is different and everyone handles medications differently, especially when pregnant.

Do not use saline nose drops. It says precise on the back to contact your doctor if you're pregnant and I'm almost positive they would say not to use it. As for the vicks, I think that's fine. Only call your doctor and ask but I would try out the vicks first.

My doctor told me that saline nasal homestead is a-ok (it's just saltwater!), and vicks, since it's not ingested, should be fine. My doc also told me that pseudoephedrine (permanent sudafed), acetaminophen (tylenol), and any kind of cough drops are ok. Still, it's a good idea to call your doctor or the suckle at your clinic and ask what meds they recommend for your specific situation, as different docs tend to have slightly peculiar recommendations. Some docs even say that guaifenesin (regular robutussin) is ok after the first trimester. It's well worth it to give your doc a call and double-correspond.

How do i use a vicks humidifier?

My sister let me appropriate her Vicks 3100 humidifier, but said she lost the instructions, and didn't know how to work the thing. I looked online and tried downloading the instruction instructions, but couldn't because i don't have adobe. des anyone have this product? Can you tell me how i fill it and get it going... She also mentioned that it use to cut when she used it. Is this a common problem?

Why does the mist from my Vicks Humidifier smell real bad, almost like urine?

Do i trouble to use a special kind of water, or am I missing something very simple.

Camphor doesn't reek like urine to me...
