How long should I keep running a cool mist humidifier? And which is better cool or warm mist humidfier?

the Dr. recommended that I buy a cool mist humidifier for my daughter so that she can whisper better. But now I'm wondering how long should I do it? and if there is a such thing as a "humidifier season"?

It positively depends on your comfort level. Some humidifiers will come with a humidifier thermometer, which will take the room up to a desired humidity, then depot running. You can also buy this separately if needed.

We are reflective of purchasing a humidifier, and would appreciate opinions on which type is better overall. Warm mist, or cool mist. Thanks for any feedback.....

The guidance we got in a store was this: If you're sick and looking to increase humidity a lot, use warm mist. For everyday humidifying, use cool mist. We use cool mist and it's fine. Cleaning the part is inconvenient (but necessary), but it works

I have one if each. I have found that a cool mist humidifier leaves a wet scene in front of the manufacture because the sprinkle droplets are a spot bigger than that of a warm mist humidifier. I would use the warm one because i would about it would hands inaugurate up the congestion. Be thorough what ever one you pick, because you have no windows or verbalize you dont scantiness a mold problem.
