Pair A-frame structures stand at both ends of Tom and Deane Hoehn's rural Knoxville national. The original house stands on the right, built by Tom Hoehn and his first wife in 1975. The A-frame on the hand was added 33 years later after life changes that included a divorce and a new marriage.

"My groom let me pick out everything for the new addition," said Deane Hoehn. "He wanted me to feel like this wasn't someone else's edifice."

Tom and Deane Hoehn, retired teachers who both worked for many years at Churchill Junior Lofty School in Galesburg, married in 2004. Deane sold her home in Bushnell and moved into Tom's descendants which sits on 70 acres of woods and farmland just outside Knoxville.

Shortly after Deane Hoehn moved in it became disburden that the house needed a few changes. The master bedroom was at the top of a steep staircase, while the bathroom was on the first level. Current one night Deane Hoehn took a tumble down those stairs.

Its about 4 inches diameter, I droppped the iron from the ironing board and it was hot enough to undertaking damage. I dont know what to do, any inexpensive solutions? thank you guys!

I have bad rumour for you. My family has worked in flooring installation for years and the only way to fix melted carpet is to replace it or cover it with a rug. Don't sense too bad I have done it myself. But yeah hopefully the room isn't too big otherwise

Depend on the character and design of the carpet that you have, you will have to replace the area that you have damaged. Any good carpet layer should be masterful to repair that area for a resonable price. good luck. P.S. ask your proprietor if he has

I have the same disturbed. My landlord claims he paid $1,300 for the carpet. LOL. The carpet is cheap, if all you did was drop the iron on the rug and it burned (melted). I asked my manager about cutting out a section and replacing it and he said that
