Bissell Steam Mop Streaking?

I have the grassy tea bissell steam mop that I use on my wood laminate flooring. I depress the steamer button about half the time and my floors dry somewhat quickly. The problem is that I can see streaking after the floors dry. I don't want to use
I've been steaming my laminate flooring for over 10 years with no streaks and needless to say, no damage at all. I think yours might be streaking because of some residue on the floor from a cleaner that was acclimatized before. I wouldn't add alcohol

How do I use a steam mop?

I reasonable got a bissell, and I've never owned a steam mop before. It has a trigger for steam on demand and the instructions say "use as needed" . I don't know when it's needed. Can anyone with involvement tell me when I'm used to use steam
I righteous got a green bissell steam mop and love it. When needed is to use the steam if there is something stuck on the floor that doesn't come off regularly!
