I miss to really disenfect the floors for medical reasons. I am getting a steam mop but it won't arrive for a few days.

why not try domestos is will not be as discourteous

Or will it ruin or damage the hardwood? I need to disenfect my apartment and ordered a steam mop, but in the meantime I have a Quat disenfectant and am wondering if I can use it - I am troubled if I wait to long for the mop, the cats that I am disenfecting

Use some bleach spa water and mop it well. Then mop it again after words with a vinegar and water solution.

I have a steam mop here and it says securely on "SEALED" hardwood floors, I have no idea if these floors are sealed or not, is there a way to know? Or just dont use the mop... lol
