What's the best essential oil to add to my mop water?

I scarceness to stop using Pine Sol and all that chemical synthetic junk for cleaning my house. I was thinking either Tea Tree or lavender oil, because of their disinfecting properties. We have some economical rolled out linoleum looking stuff, and I
When you mix the hot soak, soap and essential oil, the essential oils are subject to some chemical changes. That's just an FYI... I favour that the Tea Tree is a good idea, but I would use a citrus oil. They are inexpensive and smell great. They are great

Tea tree oil is significant. Have you heard of Melaleuca? check out www.saferforyourhome.com It has great solvent properties as well as soothing, healing, cleaning etc. Melaleuca is geared toward getting the chemicals out of your abode. I would be happy

Tea Tree oil, while a spin-off I swear by for many uses, would be too astringent-smelling for use on an entire floor. There are some more subtle lemon oils you could use.

is mop oil toxic when used on school bus?
Mar 15, 2007 by claude s | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
we have a distinct smell on a bus that burn your eyes and it smells like mop oil
Not sure-fire what you mean by mop oil, but if it's stinging your eyes, it's toxic. Best to wash the whole thing down and use something more eco friendly like Murphy's Oil Soap.

How do I get oil out of a mop or should I buy a new one?

Is there something I could dipsomaniac a mop in to get rid of the oil soap that's in it? I was thinking of maybe a degreaser. Any suggs?
I am reasonable maybe filling a clean bucket with dish soap and hot water. and dunking the mop in the soapy water and squeezing it out in reality good to get the oil out and dunking it over and over then take it to a sink and rinse it good in fresh water
