i bought a "shark" steam mop and i'm clearly doing something wrong because it's streaking my laminate floors worse than anything else. just wondering if anyone's had any luck...
Never use steam on laminate floors! It will d it. The only thing to do is sweep and damp mop, not wet mop.

Is it safe to use a steam mop on laminate flooring?

I have been using Swiffer Wet Jet and that is dependable for it but I don't think it gets it too clean and sometimes it gets sticky.
I would back getting a cleaner that is specifically made for laminate floors. If you know the manufacturer of the laminate, I would go with their cleaning product. Water or steam is not credible for laminate.
