Best way to clean sand off of ceramic tile floor?
I'm looking for a say-so for the best type of appliance-- electric broom, sweeper, vacuum-- to pick up sand off a ceramic tile floor. A conventional broom (I've tried several styles) leaves a lot behind in the grooves of the grout, so I think I need
Use a strictly severely surface vacuum. They are light and inexpensive and if you have quantity of hard surface flooring to clean they are irreplaceable. I have a Eureeka easy clean 12 amp stick. It's great. Hard surface vacs do not have a beater
I'm a janitor in cloudless Florida (lots of sugar white sand), cleaning a huge lobby floor. Use a common broom, and a lobby pan (dust pan in a stick). Afterwards I damp mop it to get the fine stuff up. The only way in a small kitchen to make it go quicker
Try and damp material, either one of the sweeper things or by hand, you need something that makes the sand stick to it
Try a feel discomfited shop vac.... Most people have one hanging out in their garage and never think to use it... Ours is 16 gallon and has a likeable long hose with attachments.. It's also on wheels.. That should pick up any sand...

I want to buy an electric sweeper (swivel sweeper, shark, etc) Do these really work? ?
My legislative body mainly consists of wood floors and ceramic tile and I have a dog and cat. The broom seems to just fling the hair and slime everywhere and the swiffer leaves stuff behind. Does anyone have any suggestions to what may work best?
I have a rotate sweeper and it works good for in between cleanings with the vacuum. It does great picking up cat hair and commons crumbs off of the rug under our dining room table.

My boyfriend and I are getting in proper shape to move into a house that hasn't had anyone living in it for 3 years. We're going to go clean it, and get the rest of the things that are in it out. We don't have the water, or excitement hooked up to it
Ditto to the above reply. Can you bring milk jugs filled with water with you? A wet-jet for the kitchen floor would work well.
