Local Repairman Makes Whirlpool Look Good When Others Failed

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com Consumer Affairs) — If you were reading BocaNewsNow.com earlier today, you undoubtedly saw our story on the simply horrible experience we had with Whirlpool. In brief, and you can read the whole story here , we purchased a Swirl Cabrio Washer from Lowes in Boca Raton several months ago. The machine died, just in the middle of its warranty. The repair woman sent this morning by Whirlpool cursed out the company, the washer, said he’d have to order a part and left in a huff — screaming something about being 50 and being a “working man.”

After several calls to Whirl (NYSE:WHR), and quite frankly a customer service department that may only be empowered to read from scripts on the computer guard in front of them, we posted the problem and the Whirlpool official response that while they were sorry their tech this morning was a disaster, the soonest anyone would transaction with the washer would be Wednesday, and that the standing water would just have to stand.

LD stands for crave drain. When this happened to us, they had to come and replace the pump. The technician told us that we should always use HE (high efficiency) flakes to keep the pump working optimally. I also found info online about a class action

unplug it...... cool one's heels 20 seconds... replug .... if it is still there .... look up the error in the manual or call the maker

Call the Repair Clinic @ their 800# you can uphold with the repairman for free help and good advise.They also have a great diagram and troubleshooting page too.

whirlpool cabrio top loading washer?

the jail on my washer will only lock temporarily and then it unlocks and the screen will read dl....the problem with this is the washer will not run unless it is locked.....does someone conscious how i can fix this myself without calling a repair service?

Wretched, you need the service call unless you can find the electrical unit that is causing the problem. Can you do that? Yeah, me neither.
