From the day they bought their sensible home in southwest Eugene four years ago, Erin Chaparro and Jeremy Hall wanted to remodel the scullery “cave.”

But rather than busting out walls in the confined, dim kitchen right away, the couple dug profound into homework.

“We decided to live in the house for a while to see what the space needs really were,” says Chaparro, who entertains topics relating to up on design, decorating and cooking on her blog, “Eugene Modern Monkey.”

Magazines like emphasize, subtitled “At Home in the Modern World,” helped Chaparro, 35, and Auditorium, 37, envision a kitchen far better suited for time together and with friends.

“We like entertaining; we like having friends over. And Jeremy loves to cook,” Chaparro says. “We wanted a lapse that felt good to do all of those things in.”

But the remodel also had to be “aesthetically artistic,” Chaparro says.

What is a good solution for cleaning laminate floors?

I'm looking for something that will not take one's leave of streaks (like plain water) or film (like Swiffer laminate floor cleaner).

Cleaning Laminate Floors?

Neutral got new laminate floors put in in preperation of selling. What is the best product that is safe for cleaning them? I don't like using disposable items such as swiffer etc. Something favourable for the environment please?

as much as you say you don't like swiffer and such.. I'm succeeding to say it... the swiffer jet mop is brilliant with laminate flooring and the pads can be recycled! I did not know that myself until I asked our environmental professor here at the university

I did something genuinely stupid and I am wondering if I can fix it. I used a floor finish cleaner on my laminate floor. Now, there is a coating on it and every little bit of tresses or anything that was on the floor is dried into it! I didn't realize

Try soap, hot water and a scrubby sponge to get it up. You may neediness to use a lot of elbow grease and scrub the entire floor - but your floor will be immacualte when you are done!
