How to wash the filter type F15 from the dirt devil easy lite vacuum?

I've conclude from that you can wash it but I haven't found how exactly I'm suppose to wash it. Do I soak it in water with soap for a few minutes? Do I justified hold the filter under running water? Do I use hot or cold water? I know these questions seem

They don't either make or sell the filter for my 3 year old vacuum anywhere. Will another filter work?

I have a dirt devil that uses a F15 filter and we want a new one badly. We don't even have the old one anymore but we can't find it anywhere. I've tried searching online and going to Sears where I've bought it along with any other store I could mull over
I would try other filters... cut to fit if needed. I've done this with vacuum bags many times.=0

I have a dirt devil unhurried lite vacuum with an F15 filter The filter was very dirty so I washed it like I read you can. The problem is I washed it last night and it's still not dry, and my knock over could stand to be cleaned. I am wondering if I can
I have a vacuum with a washable filter as well, and normally let it air dry for at least 2 days. Until it's dry. It's best to wait until it's dry, for your vacuum to properly work and not get clogged or the filter doesn't get dirty as swift. Because when
