How would you clean a backpack?

After a yoke of years dirt really gets in there, what's a good way/efficient/thorough way to clean it, or is it possible to put it in a washing instrument and put it on steam?
I upstanding put it in the washing machine by itself and run it like i would a normal load.. cold if its dark, warm if its light.etc. My backpack is refined and clean! 8]

You can put it in the washing utensil for sure, I always do that.

You can put it in the washing auto. My mom did this when my backpack got really dirty. I'm not sure what setting she used though.

You can undulate it hand wash it that is, take a rag wash the dirt inside and out, then let it dry.

yes!!! take everything out of it, go casing and get the dirt particles out of every pocket by putting it upside down, take some shout! or any stain remover...spray it on the stains if there r any...let it dowse and throw it in the washing machine.......if

junk everthing out all your loose papers and books then u could put it in the washer. my brother, to make his backpack softer he throws at the derange and messes around with it

put it in the washing shape...it should be fine...maybe not in the dryer just hang dry it for one day!!!

I use my appliances every thursday and It gets pretty sweaty and gross.
I put it in my gear bag (exactly like a gym bag) after sparring but I abandon it open so it can get some air while im on my way home. (takes 4 minutes to get home)
I would not use the clorox-bleach unengaged wipes so much as they contain alcohol which can dry out the foam and make your gear hard and cause it to crack. Only use them when you can't get the filth and dirt off of your gear otherwise. Also exposing

I looked up bed bugs and ticks and fleas.
