Do steam cleaners really work to clean shower screens?

Looking at buying a steam cleaner from the research for the shower screens as nothing works for the scum - does it work? Thanks everyone

I have a steam cleaner that i got from goodwill for $3. Its a insignificant one similar to a shark. My answer is no. It's not a miracle gadget like the commercials make it out to be. What it IS good for is getting into trim spots, cracks and crevices

Do you separate if in the long term the cleaning they do is better than chemical based cleaning products?

Yes, I own one and I have toughened it to clean showers and commercial kitchens that have built up grease. They will kill dust mites off a mattress and own up tile grout and make it like new, you can use it to clean car interiors and engines. Depending

like the shark area mop on hard wood floors.....need the help

I don't recall about that particular model, but I have hardwood flooring throughout my whole house and have a shark steam mop...one of the basic models that have been out on the market for a pair of years. I love it. It works well if you take your time.
