steam floor cleaners....Do any of them work ?

I am looking to buy a steam cleaner for my keen floors at home,not carpets.
I have looked at Hoover, Bissell, Shark and a few more, they all appear to be made from cheap flimsy persuadable....I have read reviews online about the Hoover Steam cleaner

This doubtful comes up a bit, so here's my answer again, the steam mops do work, but they are much slower than traditional mop and bucket cleaning, anyone that says otherwise sounds like a salesman for a steam mop.

I have an older Shark mock-up and I do really like it. It's the one that looks like a small canister vac with the steam generating unit on wheels and a extensive hose that the attachments go on. I thought the same thing (flimsy) when I bought it.

I have a wood bring down and two small children. I'm looking for the best cleaner for the lowest amount of money.

There is none. Wood and be inconsistent do not mix. Especially hot steam that is being forced into it.
