how do i use a galvanized can for a compost bin?

I have a 20 gallon shield galvanized trash can. Will I be able to use it for a compost bin. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

i glowing in a small apartment complex, which has a small area for a garden outside each apartment. I would like a garden this year, and would like to start composting. I have very fixed space in which to put a composting bin, and not a whole lot of matter

I've got several compost bins of differing volumes, and move compost through them, depending on its processing. I also have cache 'bins' that are smaller, some of them being old plant tubs, used for this purpose, when they've gotten past their best.
