Saratoga memories project

“In the help downstairs (in the Canfield Casino), there is a metal trash can. One day, and this was years ago, the cover on it went flying off the trash can. As I remember it, one of the ladies who worked down there never came back. Yes, I would say they were spooked. A lot of people have stories. We had a tour here after the show (‘Ghost Hunters’ profiled the Casino) and a chick came in with her husband with one of those machines used to detect ghosts. Right in the middle of this group, the missus made a spectacle of herself. She said, ‘Reubena (Hyde Walworth, one of the supposed ghosts in the Casino), I am a baby, and I know you were a nurse. If you are here, please give me a sign.’ Apparently, the gauge on the machine went past the sea-chart. Down in the gift shop, there are five CDs that play music. I was alone here on a Friday, and we were closing. I go in and push a button on the CD players to construct them off and lock the door. The CDs are programmed with their volume and we just have to turn them off at the end of the day. I came in the next morning and reversed the handle and realized there was no music playing. All of the volume on the CDs had been turned down to zero. I didn’t do that. Only two people have keys, the chief honcho, who was out of town, and me. We also had a fella who worked in the gift shop — he passed away a few years ago — and he was in the erection all by himself and he started hearing people talking, doors opening and closing upstairs. If you look up the stairs, you can see the other floors and he saw lights prevailing on and off. It took him awhile, but he got up his nerve and went upstairs, but the lights were all off. I don’t know if I believe in ghosts, but this is a attractiveness to me.” — John Conners, 72, Curator, Saratoga Historical Museum, Saratoga Springs (Provided)

Is it possible for a trash can lid to come off by itself?

We have a trash can in our pantry with a lid that snaps onto the can. You have to use a button on the lid to get the inner lid to pop up. The outer lid is hard to get off unless you pull it off. We found both pieces seperated on the dumfound.
The

Yes if you have a cinch of wind knock it off

Yes if you have a draught of wind knock it off

yes the stimulate of the day and the decomposing trash ===pressure

Its natural, its getting full of air inside or whats in the trash is making gases.
If you make a small hole on the lid it will stop doing it.
If not get a minister of the Gospel to go to your house hahaha (just jocking)
good luck

Unswerving, it it wasn't attached properly in the first place. If the lid is a tight fit and was only partly attached, there's some tension on the pieces that get together that could cause them to spring apart. Imagine a rubber band stretched around the top

The dog did it. If you don't have a dog, then the put is haunted. Well, it's as good as any of the other answers.

Can you buy a trash barrel lid without buying the barrel itself?

I have a lot of trash barrels with no lids and I don't want to buy new barrels because they're expensive. Raccoons keep getting into my trash and i need someway to guard it.

Stores will not drummer just the lid, since the manufacturer sends them as sets

how fast can i go down on the lug course on a trash can lid?

i was wondering.

BQ will the lug sure be open to the public now and how much will it cost?

You wouldn't scrape by it down. Lugers and bobsleighs go very fast, but that's because they are sung sleds that are designed for the task (plus they have very strong starts). On your trash can you wouldn't get very far. Now, on a Daffy Carpet (remember

We bought a bin with a equivalent activate-car replacement role, but this is much advantage because of the dual compartments. In lieu of of collecting a shapable bag hung on a drawer hold recyclable materials in the kitchenette, we now have an attracting surrogate trim. We afford cookhouse unprofitable on the facing side. Another addition germane is that the g...
