Savings Experiment: Small Home? Space-Saving Tips on the Cheap
P FI harmonize with Peet. Although you went far into the matter. When I rented my first apartment there were so many regulations. Had I hung TV's, book shelves, etc would have been spectacular BUT when I moved out I had to bring everything back to it's original condition. Have you ever tried to putty a whole put in the wall from one of those tv holders? Holy crap! Peculiarly if the wall is textured. So my sage advice is, unless you plan on living at the apartment for a looooong time, I wouldn't do all this. Organize savers as all-in-one unit's are great, inexpensive and in the long run can save you a bundle and you avoid landlord hassles...and landlords can be a trouble in the ass.
cattiemomNope. In my apt. complex, you can't hang ANYTHING from the ceiling. The apt. is 840 square feet. You can't paint anything. You can't do much of anything, in accomplishment. Just cram your furniture in and hope not to break your neck tripping over things. No under-the-bed storage. No dwell to even shove stuff under the bed, because you have only a teensy path between your bed and the furniture, and you have to walk sideways in between. I have fallen many times tripping over my own feet. It's distressingly after living in houses.
