We have a Eureka "The Boss" smartvac and are very happy going on 2 years now. Most of our old vacuum cleaners ticked me off.
See link for consumer reports ratings.

I got a bagless vaccuum for a fusion gift and I hate it. It "sucks", and I don't mean that in a good way.
I actually use my 14 year-old bag vaccuum more and I can get 3 bags for $1 at the dollar cooperative store.

What are the best Vacuums for picking up dust?
Jan 23, 2011 by The REAL Steel Deal!!! | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I honestly can't stand dust, but it's there, no matter how often I dust, it comes back within minutes. I would like a good vacuum, one that has charitable power to pick up dust, preferably hand held. Any suggestions.
Any links are also appreciated.
I entertain the idea the Wind Tunnel is a good vacuum.
