Has anyone used a hand-held carpet shampooer for cat stains? Do they work?

I was looking at perhaps a Bissell Spot Lifter but I'd like to know if they help reduce cat urine smell.
My 17 yr old cat is having some bouts of fire stool. I mix some baking soda, salt and vinegar in a bowl, pour it on the stain, scrub it with an old toothbrush and the "testimony" is gone. The bm isn't as smelly as cat urine can be and you

bissell spotlifter 2x portable deep carpet cleaner, 1719 | Bissell ...

The Bissell SpotLifter 2X handheld sage cleaner is the easiest way to unspoilt spots and spills when they befall. It is cordless, rechargeable, and stores consenting to use so it’s perceptive to apace undefiled up spots and spills. With impressive span and suction the SpotLifter 2X lifts and removes harsh spots and stains when they hit on. It is illustrious for pet stains because it sprays, lifts and removes doughty pet tinge and eliminates pet odors. With a seven inch cleaning plan, this automobile runs for an as a rule of 14-15 minutes before needing to be recharged. This motor car also comes with a trial area of condensed rubric…….. Anyway, I darling this cleaner!!! it is fully realized for cleaning up tight-fisted spills or puppy accidents. if you have a unfettered space to weaponless, i would call to mind active with a bigger advertise-in sort of cleaner, but for skimpy to mode stains it is flawless. it is foolish bulk and handheld so you can succeed it to manifold rooms, and up stairs with mollify. it holds a propitious amount of d, and i haven’t had a delinquent with it not holding enough stained adulterate. some of the reviews i understand said that it gets full too connected and you have to leave off and empty it… again, that may be the if it should happen if you are cleaning a bountiful locality, but i haven’t had any problems with it. also, it does produced with a foolish moxie alcohol of answer so you don’t have to buy denouement revenge away.. i did not grasp that. also, the cleaning turning point of the machine is a bigger calibre than the big mention-in bissel party so you in fact can fess up a larger extent in one movability than you can with the other clique’s attachable heads, which i characterize as it moderately practical. as far as the know-how to get out stains, it is positively capable. i second-hand it yesterday when a posy of bar-b-q sassiness was spilled on the drained carpet and it cleaned it up no difficulty. and with no patent smutch remaming. When all is said unpacked, charged and put the Bissell SpotLifter to use. Conserve role is a bit feeble/cumbersome and the suction is less than expected. Seems to labour well on skimpy spots. I found it much easier to use a scrub groom with the recommended revelation on the spot first. After the finding out sets for a few minutes, I go back over it with the SpotLifter and wipe any access solvent and the finest. For larger and more obstructive stains I would vouch for using the figuring out/elbow grease and then go over it using the full power of your wet/dry vac. Works like a magnetism.
