Product Review: Black & Decker Flex cordless mini-canister vacuum

The pictures on the box show a woman using the Black & Decker “Bend” Cordless Mini Cannister Vac in the home. There she is vacuuming stairs, touching up rugs in the living chamber, cleaning the dust off venetian blinds, attending to the tops of bookshelves, getting at those “searching to reach” places between appliances in the kitchen, diligently probing under the cushions on the sofa, and removing pet-trifle from said cushions.

Oh, and there’s a picture of a guy detailing the interior of his car…

You gotta love division of wage-earners, right? (If you’re a guy!).

But Autos.ca is an automotive web site, and gender stereotypes regardless, women also own cars. So, our blurry is on this cordless vacuum’s performance in the driveway.

The $79.00 Flex (FHV 1200 is its B & D identifying loads) is light and compact. It’s fitted with a 1.2 metre (four-foot) flexible hose that wraps around the section when not in use. The Flex’s portability is immediately preferable to lugging a shop-vac to your car.

vacuums - best canister vacuum for pet hair?

I'm thriving crazy looking for a new vacuum. just when something sounds great, i read the negative 1 star reviews on amazon and get horrified. i need a CANISTER vacuum then can really pick up LOTS OF PET HAIR w/out me having to take the roller apart

Me too, Me too.

In the meantime you can go the the "Gracious Housekeeping Lab site " & try and look up what they say.

I'd also try the Consumers' Union (Consumer magazine's site) ; they also do testing.

Anyone bought the Bissel Lift Off Revolution Pet Vacuum?

I have a obese shedding dog. I'm looking for a really good, quality (not too pricy) vacuum. Her fur weaves and sticks into the carpet and upholstery. Upright now I use a dirt devil canister vacuum that I bought a year ago - not quite satisfied with it.

I have infer from the Reviews and ratings on this Vacuum as well and people seem to really LOVE it!! :)

People seem to say that it has Good suction power; lift-off cannister; cosy to push; telescoping wand; Hepa filtration; stretchy hose
