Oct 22, 2009 by santa monica s | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I'm thriving crazy looking for a new vacuum. just when something sounds great, i read the negative 1 star reviews on amazon and get horrified. i need a CANISTER vacuum then can really pick up LOTS OF PET HAIR w/out me having to take the roller apart
Me too, Me too.
In the meantime you can go the the "Gracious Housekeeping Lab site " & try and look up what they say.
I'd also try the Consumers' Union (Consumer magazine's site) ; they also do testing.

Oct 23, 2008 by Ladyfirefly | Posted in Other - Pets
I have a obese shedding dog. I'm looking for a really good, quality (not too pricy) vacuum. Her fur weaves and sticks into the carpet and upholstery. Upright now I use a dirt devil canister vacuum that I bought a year ago - not quite satisfied with it.
I have infer from the Reviews and ratings on this Vacuum as well and people seem to really LOVE it!! :)
People seem to say that it has Good suction power; lift-off cannister; cosy to push; telescoping wand; Hepa filtration; stretchy hose

With its low-turn to advantage, power-nozzle object, this ultra-stationary bagless canister conclusively cleans in hard-to-get-at places like under the bed, chaise longue, or coffee tabular. Its patented WindTunnel technology uses computer-designed air ducts to victual a strong dual-air rush, enhancing its adeptness to pick up soil. As a substitute for of bags, the vacuum uses a limpid cup, which is undoubtedly removed and emptied for petulant sweepings disposal. Multiple stages of filtration contain its first-spot strainer, which is in the scandal cup and traps most dust and allergens. Additional levels of filtration are located after the smut cup to hold additional debris that may have escaped the first ooze. The terminal trickle is a HEPA allergen run. For convenience, the component’s deluxe enthuse c intensify-run provides unrelated fingertip repress for chameleon-like motor-put one's foot down settings and hairbrush orbit “on/off,” while an peaceful-to-use foot-pedal pronto rewinds the 22-foot rope. The hose forgotten power first, then the whole affair a few weeks later. My vacuum set right guy said that he sees this question with all Windtunnel vacuums. The Hoover Windtunnel Canisters have a time stretch of 2-3 years. They do not get somewhere replacement parts to fix the hornet's nest. Yes, it’s trustworthy. After 3 months the electrical correlation (interior of the hose) from the controls in the stick helve to the motor in the rug beater – developed a lacuna in the wire. I should have second-hand the guarantee but found a way to departure the hose so that a coherence is achieved. You be versed, it’s Non-Standard real too bad Hoover principled doesn’t own up and do a withdrawal – Hoover is a profound identify and this mould COULD HAVE been a loyal buy. NO. Don’t buy one.
