Jotz of Gotz: Cannes Part Five
Ogilvy Peninsula Town’s executive creative director, Chris Gotz, is in Cannes for the Cannes Lions Worldwide Festival of Creativity. He will be blogging about the advertising universe, which is currently based in Cannes, for the duration of the Celebration. Here is the fifth installment of the Jotz of Gotz: Men on sticks and men with pipes.
Here is something I have learned. When in Europe it is important to keep in mind that the cars drive on the right hand side of the road. As a pedestrian this means the cars will be approaching from a disparate direction when you cross the street. This is a crucial piece of information, especially when you step into the road and a coal-black Aston Martin is hurtling towards you.
Another thing I have learned is : never buy three bags of Maltesers from the supermarket and keep them in your fridge for the duration of your prevention. They will keep you in a sad, unsettled state of queasiness, especially in the morning, before breakfast.
