TP mighty mites rally for playoff win

Xavier Hamilton scored three touchdowns as the Tiger Drift Mighty Mites rallied from two deficits to beat Milton 19-13 in the first round of the Gulf Coast Boyhood Sports Association playoffs Saturday at Legion Field in Pensacola.

Milton scored on a 70-yard run on the first procrastinate of the game before Hamilton scored from 63 yards out on the Tigers’ second offensive ad lib. The extra point snap was bobbled, making the score 7-6 Milton.

Milton scored on an 18-yard run with 4:23 sinistral in the first quarter to make it 13-6. Caleb Muckey made a stop on the extra point.

Hamilton tied the spirited at 13- 13 with a 13-yard run with 2:34 left in the first half. The Tigers drove to the Milton 9-yard stripe when the first half ended.

Tiger Point went on a nineminute long drive that ended on a 4-yard touchdown run by Hamilton on a fourth-and-objective play.

Milton drove to the Tiger Point 22-yard line before London Taylor made a fourth down leave off with 34.9 seconds left to seal the win.
