Whats the best stick vacuum for tile floors?
May 16, 2008 by adrianne M | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
We are impressive to a house that has tile in the kitchen and dining room and since I don't want to be just pushing the dust around with my broom anymore I wanted to advised of which of you use those stick type vacuum cleaners that you use on tile floors and thin carpet. Which work good but are still inexpensive ?? Either corded or cordless .
Where did you find the revolve sweeper for only 20 dollars?? I looked online and the cheapest I could find was 34 dollars.
Swiffer Reach+Vac
Swiffer WetJet
Swiffer CarpetFlick for the carpeting/rugs
If you don't want to use Swiffer, then get the Sludge Devil BroomVac, it's good too.
I've got the Swivel Sweeper and I don't like it, unusually for the 2 $20 payments I made.

I over the Miele brooms are the best in the world. Very strong, quiet and can be used for bare floors or rugs.

Are all Shark vacuum cleaners really loud?
Aug 05, 2006 by homeschoolmom | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I bought one and I have to debilitate earplugs to use it. It doesn't work all that well, either, just good enough. I'm thinking of taking it back. Any suggestions for a admissible stick vacuum? My case on my Hoover was cracked really badly (where it meets the handle) - that's why I bought the Shark.
I had a shark one and got rid of it mostly for the noise. They use such a small motor with alot of rpms which is why they are so loud. Plus it stopped sucking very well after a temporary period of time. I have a Hoover wind tunnel now which is pretty quiet. It is a generic version of the Dyson. Got it at Walmart for $ 110.00.

Selling Kirby Vacuum cleaners?
Sep 04, 9582 by Proud Mami | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
My husband found this job as rendezvous setter, he has to set appointments so salesmen can sell the vacuums. He says he has to do a certain amount of appointments a week to get paid 2000 dollars a month. The vacuum cleaner itself sells for 2000dollars. Tomorrow they will give him a vacuum cleaner to carry out home and experiment with so he can get to know the product. That right there, scares me, why would they trust him with a 2000 dollar vacuum cleaner
He went to the position and had his first day of work. And I don't know what they are telling him, but I am not feeling it, I want him to quit, I know it's a scam or a rip off. And I'm so afraid we will get attached to something and stuck with debt. We are already struggling and behind with our bills. He has a PT job right now and that's our only source of income to pay the bills and he seems to be content to push that job aside to go sell vacuum cleaners, and I'm just here worrying my butt off. I don't know what to predict him, but I want him to quit and get a real job. But he has been so manipulated.
The reason why I post this is, because I want to hear from other Kirby SELLERS (not buyers) what your experiences are.
And I also need to hear advice on what I can do, as his wife to make him realize that this is not the job he wants.
I would trait him to the BBB website: http://www.la.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=100023536, this report shows that customer self-assurance and even that of the BBB is so low you are recommended against buying from this company. I have had a family member who "worked" for Kirby years ago (like the 70's) and it was such a scam - if he failed he could be held susceptible for the cost of the unit and "training". It wound up costing his family $3000 back then. Come close to with extreme caution.
