An Ultra-Simple Vacuum Kit, Designed For Easy Repairs

That was the impulse for Ben Fursdon, a recent graduate of Kingston University London, to design a vacuum so simple that even the least mechanically apt owners could take it apart and fix it themselves. For his stripped down hoover, Fursdon used an ordinary broom as the base of a works consisting of a hose, motor, filter, a transparent plastic canister, and a power cord. He christened his combination creation the Broo-ver. “One of the key design decisions was to restrict the amount of plastic used in the vacuum cleaner, hence the minutest and unobtrusive aesthetic,” Fursdon tells Co.Design.

That’s all well and good, you might say, but how’s the suction? Not bad, Fursdon attests, because the air has scanty distance to travel from the floor to the motor. “I wouldn’t dare say it would outperform a Dyson, but it is still very well-behaved for a simple piece of engineering.” And how does it perform on carpeting? Fursdon has designed a radius of adapters for floors, carpets, and even for picking up pet hair. Since most people have both hard flooring and carpeting, users must do a bit of self-assembling, cardinal them to gain some knowledge of how to take the thing apart and put it back together.

Vacuum cleaners for pet hair?

What is the defeat lightweight vacuum cleaner for use in a home with pets? I am willing to spend up to $300.

Dyson has a scale model that is great for pet hair, I think it says something about pets in the model name. About any vacuum will work well if you
change the bag frequently, and vacuum really often--like everyday.

Good Luck!

Dysons are grievous, but a little pricey. Hoover makes one with a great attachment that hooks on to the hose. It's a rotating revolving brush and it works awesome on furniture (and great for cars) to get all the hair off. It is lightweight and works great. All

the dyson seems to be a enormous vacume, but it is no where close to your budget, and when you go shopping, you will find the 700 dollar price tag on the one you want is unacceptable...yes there is a variation. instead, I suggest a eureka bagless vacume.

That's when the real world strikes back and the responsible owner needs sound advice to deal with a problem situation. That's when you reach for What If My Dog...? Here is a book that tells you the things that so many other dog books leave out.
