Nov 16, 2011 (Energy Department Documents and Publications/ContentWorks via COMTEX) -- Digest: This notice announces receipt of and publishes the LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. (LG) petition for waiver and application for interim spoor (hereafter, "petition") from specified portions of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) test procedure for determining the energy consumption of clothes washers. Today's observe also grants an interim waiver of the clothes washer test procedure. Through this notice, DOE also solicits comments with obey to the LG petition.

DATES: DOE will accept comments, data, and information with respect to the LG petition until December 16, 2011.

How do you candid the front lid of a GE washing machine?
I want to open the front lid of my GE washing machine (WNSR3100W). It is acting up & I know what it is & I have seen my father-in-law fix before but I can't figure out how he opened!

Have two people (one of them can be you) use a butter slash (each) to push the clips open (at the same time) and then fix what you need to.

most washing machines advantage access is in the back..
but to get off the top lid you have to undo the screws from the inside... very hard to get at .. some have clips and can be forced separate with some prybar..

you should be masterly to just grab the top and pull up to make the top of the machine open.. you can get the best grip by opening the "lid" to the drum, and there will be a measure out between the lid and the drum for your fingers.. just give a good

I have a GE washing machine motor with 7 wires coming out of it. I yearn for to use it as a simple heating furnace blower motor. It is a two speed motor. What color wires can I seize up to use it as a simple, one speed motor at it's higher RPM (1725)?

While its washing (agitating) the washing machine squeaks a lot. Is that everyday of newer GE washing machines. It was $319.00 at Sears.

It washes me and my husbands clothes very well, but it makes a lot of noise. Routine?

did you take away all the shipping/packing material? check the installation instructions for proper setup.
