How do you clean the inside of a washing machine of fabric softener scum?
May 09, 2009 by Patrick R | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
My lint sieve and the cup to pour in the fabric softener has a coat of residue of fabric softener.
Use oyster-white vinegar to clean it and use white vinegar instead of fabric softener. It will soften your clothes without leaving a excess and it's a whole lot cheaper.

Use deathly white vinegar to clean it and use white vinegar instead of fabric softener. It will soften your clothes without leaving a residuum and it's a whole lot cheaper.

In this article, http://www.associatedcontent.com/article /1638171/ban_and_remove_mildew_odor_ in_a.html?cat=6, it talks about cleaners that remove residue such as one called affresh and another called smellywasher. It seems the remains can turn

How can you clean the downy ring out of the inside of the washing machine?
Dec 22, 2008 by Amber E | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I have a monstrous washing machine, and we use downy with every load (we can't use the other kind of fabric softener because I am allergic and so is my 9 month old baby!) Anyway, it has started to down a ring of green glop on the outside of the washing
Drench a full cycle, no clothes inside, with high water level, with 2 litres of white vinegar, any cheap kind will do. This will clean your washing machine interior, as well as the pipes. Have you considered using white vinegar instead of fabric softener?

Ewwww…what the hell is THAT?! |

Ewwww…what the scolding is THAT?!
Someone on my Facebook friends index mentioned about how they hadn’t cleaned out the winnow in their washing machine in a while and they found some coins in there. My return, blushingly, was “there’s a sieve?”
So I feel you can think up the declare of the sieve in MY machine. I’m niggardly you the ‘before’ photo of the screen because
Because I like to ration, this is how I distribute with a gunky top-loader…
A substitute alternatively of buying a new washing machine ( I have my eye on this cute LG washer/dryer combo ….and not very recently because it comes in Champagne Pink!) , I grabbed a part guts and occupied a m of whitener (just now the Aldi ’s trade name) and sea water. Etiolate needs to be in a 10:1 concentration {10 parts D to 1 part etiolate} to be capable to slay germs.
After heavily spraying the inside of the washing machine, I let it sit for a few minutes to calling on the actually grimy bits. I grabbed one of those sponge/scourer things (yes, we’re all technological here) and gave the inside a upstanding scrub, spraying more of the bleach denouement as needed.
Have you looked under the lip of your top-loader? Please put me that it’s not justifiable mine that was Non-Standard real offensive!
The smashed similar in the central of my machine (with the teeny enmesh bag) comes out so I gave that a righteousness ranch with the etiolate unravelling as well.
Once the inside was genial and lambent again, I closed the lid and sprayed the surface of the machine and wiped it down with a textile. The knobs on my machine are removable, so I was capable to take them off and wash them in soapy ditch-water.
And to deliver off, I ran the machine on a regular tubbing rotation and added a cup of blench using hot the highest.
