my washing machine doesnt spin anymore does this contemptible the motor has blown? it fills and empties but the drum doesnt spin.

Does the agent provocateur move in the wash cycle? You could have a bad timer, try moving it a head manually just a little bit.

typically the motor is connected by a strike you may want to tilt the washer up and look under it if the belt is broken you will be able to tell right away.

you totally need a new belt. that's what spins the tub to wash the clothes and then drain the water. the belt is located under the washer. If youbend down and look under the washer - you will perhaps see it on the floor. all you have to do is take

No, the motor is tickety-boo if it still does the rest of the things, like agitate, it just means the belt that is connected to the show drive part of the motor, when engaged, is broken, it needs replacing.

I had this washing machine or a spoonful less than 4 years and the spin cycle doesnt work anymore. idk what to do
90% of the even so it is the lid switch. go to www.searspartsdirect.com with model number and look up the lid switch, easy and cost effecient renewal.

I have a Roper washing machine that wont spin. It washes, rinses, and drains but doesnt attempt to spin. Help?

The dial will go to the end of the succession but nothing is going on during the spin portion of the cycle.
If it is an old line belt driven then the wig-wag solenoids are possibly bad not allowing it to engage the spin cycle. If it is the newer style clear drive then the two speed motor or switch is not activating for the drum to spin at high speed. These
