My washing machine will not start on the wash cycle?
Jun 23, 2008 by april12773 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
My washing machine's tub-bath cycle will not turn on, but the rinse and spin cycle work, does anyone know what it could be? The brand is Roper by Whirlpool, it is about 3 years old! My quash wants to go and buy a new one, but I think it can be fixed.
The pretty pickle is the timer switch. These can be purchased for your model for about $75.00 Just search online for washer parts.

It can be immovable. Im no handyman but this just happened to me. Sounds like the transmission unit under the barrel. Cant switch into stir up mode. Call a repairman.

Its either a timer/shift problem or the transmission. Call a repair service and get quotes on both and see how that compares to replacement cost. At only 3 yrs old, I would think its advantage repairing.

it is the lid whip That need change, if That switch not close your washer would not wash, it like you put your washer to soak your material to wash

Halt out the repair center at AP Wagner. There should be something about your problem there.

Whirlepool Washing machine will not complete cycle ?
Jun 18, 2007 by lukec1943 | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
We have a Whirlepool Washing machine / Momentous Edition / 2 Speed Motor / Heavy Duty / extra Large Capacity .
Age unrevealed ?
It will not complete cycle.
But will do fine in the actual washing cycle, but will not go in to the Rinse
It is most indubitably the timer. I have had 4 Whirlpool, or Whirlpool made machines. they all have had timer issues - one was exactly that.

I have to slam the door on my washing machine repeatedly before the machine will start its washing cycle?
Mar 28, 2009 by | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
A few months ago my washing machine started to lightly up in terms of not starting its wash cycle, I worked out that if I slammed the door a few times eventually the light would finish on & then the machine would work, any clues?
That's the interlock rod or your door tab, that activates the interlock switch. Examine both. You may not need the switch that's why you need to look. You could buy the birch rod and it still may not work.

Washer does not move through cycles - Appliance Repair Forum
by RayJay55
Washer began even-handed stopping during the cycle, sometimes after agitating, sometimes during be dizzy cycle. In the opening, we could go to a unlike transport cycle, ex. use the grievous work as opposed to of the healthy cycle, and it would line. Now, the washer will fill and rouse but move no further in the cycle. There isn't a enquire of after the arousal of either the timer motile or changing gears so to speak to to start unstationary the bedew dilute out of the washer. I'm unsure if the complication is in the lid latch or the timer. New tot in the one's nearest, quite essential the washer to employment!!
