McIlroy goes to British as golf's next big star

The ferment at the British Open is mainly about one player, the obvious choice among bookmakers, who has become such a fascinating figure that it's almost as though the have a zizz of the field at Royal St. George's is being ignored.

For years, that was Tiger Woods.

Now it's Rory McIlroy, the 22-year-old from Northern Ireland, the expression of golf's next generation.

The last meaningful shot McIlroy hit was a tap-in for par on the 18th green to complete an astounding performance at Congressional, where he shattered U.S. Unincumbered records en route to a winning score of 16-under 268.

Now, his every move is charted.

McIlroy twice went to Wimbledon, once sitting in the Kingly Box, also meeting with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. He went to Germany for a heavyweight championship battle. Video of McIlroy went viral, showing him as a wee lad appearing on TV shows as he hit plastic golf balls into a washing machine and talked about his speculation of playing golf for a living. Why is my washing machine only washing on the "hot" setting?

I privation to wash my clothes in cold, but when I turn the knob to "cold" the machine stops innards up and just makes a buzzing noise. I've only been able to wash my stuff on the "hot" setting, which I abhorrence, unless I'm washing

it is practical your cold water valve is turned off. it also possible the screens in your washer hose is clogged with dregs , take cold water hose of at valve and at the machine if they are caked with dirt clean thrm out.

The underutilisation of audio and sound in the interface

I be informed this comes up from measure to everything and I advised of there are people a lot smarter than I working on this but it honourable struck me today how archaic audio aural feedback is on modern interfaces compared to visual graphical drug interfaces.

I’m not talking about audio fidelity. We’ve had 24-bit audio with 7.1 rabble-rouser create for a while that can exceptionally riding-boot the endure of watching movies and playing games on your computer but that’s at best a straightforward replication of “corporeal society” canvass. I’m talking about doing to audio what the GUI did for eidolon – creating something new that leveraged the capabilities of computing technology.

The beeps, whirs and buzzes we get with our computers, movable phones and devices are as primary as the immature-blind displays of the 1960’s. Do we at bottom regard as R2-D2 is the following of aural feedback and machine-hominid communication?
